
The benefits of eating organic are many including – less toxic chemicals in our food, higher density of vitamins and nutrients, lower environmental impact, and support of small farms. However – not everyone has the choice or budget to buy all their food organic. For those that would still like to make healthier choices, knowledge is power.Knowing which produce is the most and least sprayed with toxic chemicals allows us to make smarter choices at the market. The Environmental Working Group compiles just such a list annually based on data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration.
